Integrated equal loudness control
One of advantages for all in one system is that equal loudness control can be implemented without any problems or calibration. You don't need to set anything because system knows approximate SPL for a volume you set in airplay streaming device. If you don't know what equal loudness control is you can read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-loudness_contour. On baffles system this mean that if you listen at reference volume levels you hear the "correct" sound. When you lower the volume the bass is boosted according to equal loudness contour and you still hear the "correct" sound. Lets take an example. When the night comes and you listen and you turn volume down more and more, the bass just disappears and the music gets "thin". You may start feel that you want want to increase the volume to get richer sound with low end. But on the other hand you just listen at low levels because it is deep night and everything is quiet around and you are tired from noise and just naturally want quiet music. So here it comes the benefit. You just get the "correct" sound at different volumes.
