Single Speaker Stereo
Stereo impression from one physical enclosure. Not a shelf item, but a buildable concept for special rooms and special listeners.
An audio system that disappears. Open baffles reduce cabinet coloration. Current-drive amplifiers reduce driver distortion. The result is a system that tries to get out of the way.

Frequency-dependent output impedance reduces distortion where it matters: at the loudspeaker driver.
Stereo impression from one physical enclosure. Not a shelf item, but a buildable concept for special rooms and special listeners.
Open-baffle loudspeakers, active DSP, current-drive amplification, and room-aware tuning as one coherent custom system.
Mood, expectation and even pleasant distortion change the same record. Baffless treats the loudspeaker, the room, hearing and the person in the chair as one system — and still adds as little as possible to what leaves the driver.
Technologies and system principles used in both the Dipole System and Single Speaker Stereo.
The DSP, amplification and loudspeakers are treated as one system. That common foundation supports both complete-system paths, even though they create spatial sound in different ways.
The physical form, one-person development process and final listening impression are part of the project too.
Rytis Smolskas — electronics engineer. By day he works in Lithuania’s space industry. Audio is the project he runs himself, in Vilnius, since 2005.
Baffless is a one-person build in the literal sense: the idea, the visual design, the electrical design, the schematics, the software and the manufacturing all run through the same person. Nothing is handed over between departments, so every layer is designed against the others — the cabinet knows what the driver needs, the firmware knows what the circuit does.
That keeps the whole system tightly integrated and optimised down to the detail, and it makes features possible that would be problematic to build when every part comes from a different supplier. It shows in the price as well — there is no chain of margins between the design and the finished machine. And if a part is not available, or is priced like jewellery, he designs it.
Space precision — Audio obsession
inspired by nature and art

This is not audio jewellery. It is a long engineering argument where measured physics meets the feel of nature and art.
