Form follows physics. The unconventional shape is dictated by acoustics — not aesthetics.
The Baffless dipole speaker doesn't look like a traditional open-baffle design — and that's entirely intentional. Every curve, every angle, every dimension is determined by acoustic requirements.
Traditional speakers hide drivers behind a flat baffle in a rectangular box. Every cabinet vibrates, and those vibrations radiate unwanted sound that colors the music. This is cabinet coloration.
The Baffless approach minimizes both diffraction and cabinet coloration through minimal baffle area. Less surface means less unwanted radiation. Each driver gets only the smallest baffle that maintains proper acoustic loading at its operating frequencies. Nothing more.
The Single Speaker Stereo is unconventional for the same reason. Its form is not a styling exercise: the three full-range drivers are arranged to steer mono and side information in different directions, deliberately using reflections from the room walls to help create a stereo image from one enclosure. Its geometry is dictated by the way the system works.
Both systems may look strange at first glance. But once you understand the physics, their forms become logical — even inevitable. The shape IS the sound.
