Measurement
Binaural Microphone
A dummy head for loudspeaker measurement — a tool, not a product.

This head exists to evaluate loudspeakers the way listening works: two ears, a skull, and ear canals of average human size. Standard measurement microphones capture pressure. They miss the spatial and timbral cues that decide whether a system sounds right.
It was built as a measurement tool, especially to develop the crosstalk-cancellation filters. Turning it into a product was considered. For now it is only a tool. A later revision, more finished and better suited to field use, might become one.
